A Community of Sustainability Projects...

Sustainability and permaculture are rooted in the ethics of community. Here at Hidden Valley Farm we reach out to other projects in Costa Rica to learn from and exchange with one another. Here is a list of other sustainability projects you can check out in Costa Rica:

Rancho Mastatal

An education center, working permaculture farm, lodge and community rooted in environmental sustainability, meaningful, place-based livelihoods, and caring relationships. Located in the rural farming town of Mastatal, situated on the edge of the last remaining virgin rainforest of Costa Rica’s beautiful Puriscal County.

Rancho Delicioso

An eco-village and yoga retreat center, with a permaculture learning program. Guests, volunteers, and permanent residents share sustainable values and live in a jungle farm setting. Located in between Montezuma and Santa Teresa on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Essence Arenal

Fundamentally people enjoy experiencing the beauty of natural environments; in fact we are nature.  We believe that people, if given the opportunity, will protect natural environments and engage in regenerative practices to support life on earth. As a tourist destination, Valle Escondido inspires visitors to remember we are nature.
